Nokia Lumia 800 review

The Nokia Lumia 800 has been on the markets a while so here's a good chance for those who still think about buying the phone to read my review of this phone. I've been using it for couple of months. For those who already have the phone this is a good chance to add your opinions so feel free to comment!

The Lumia comes in a quite stylish box. The inside of the package reminds alot of the way the iPhone is packed. Inside the package (depends on country/company) you have black headphones, recharger (usb and regular connection), users manual and a black cover for the phone.

The startup is easy and the phone doesn't need to be connected to a computer to get it installed. The startup is very fast.

Calling and texting:

+Simple

+Fast

+easy to switch from sms to facebook chat

-Too "digital" for some users

Email:

+ Many email accounts syncronized in the same time

- The hidden mails under the main email

Calendar

+ Calendar updates on the locked screen

+ Social media updates in the calender (birthdays, meetings)

- Small dates on the monthly view in the calendar (see picture below)

Camera:

+ Fast to open (even from the locked screen with only one button!)

+ High quality pictures

+ Easy to edit

+ Cool gallery

+ Works well with the Bing-search (you can search QR-codes and translate text that you pick with the camera)

Bing search

Music:

+Large selection (15million songs)

+ Updates every month

- Limited amount of changing the song manually

- Slow map downloading (very big files)

- No Home-button

Browser:

+Html 5 support

+ The search field is on the bottom of the web page which makes browsing faster!

-Amount of apps at the moment

Overall the Nokia Lumia 800 is a very good phone that meets almost all your needs. The best way to be sure that you like it is to try it out.

 The more you use it, the more you start respecting the features that the phone have.
